The Brand I Never Pay Full Price For

Hello!

Is it just me or did this weekend fly by?  Whether it flew or dragged by for you I hope you had a great few days of r&r for this upcoming week!  Today I am sharing how I never pay full price for one of my favorite brands.  That brand being: Free People.

Free People is one of my favorites because they consistently produce great casual clothing.  Their tees and dresses are easy to throw on and go.  The fit is oversized and flowy which is my favorite style to wear on a daily basis.  In addition, I have always experienced quality products that last me many seasons to come. I will say the only downfall is Free People pricing.  Ultimately, I probably wear a different Free People top three times a week for everything from running errands to date night so I definitely more than get my monies worth.  However, I am not going to lie justifying the price is sometimes tough for me.  So, I will be sharing a few tips I have used to save on Free People clothing.

Frequently On Sale
If you are looking for a deal do not shop the Free People site unless they are having a sale.  However, do browse stores such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales and Belk because they will be the stores that run more branded sales.  If you tune into my Instagram stories you would have heard that originally I ordered the top above from Macy’s, but they sent me the wrong one 🙁  Luckily, I was able to return it and find the exact same item in my local department store which leads me to my next point.

Price Matching
I found the top above at Belk and I had done my research to know that Nordstrom currently had the top for 40% off.  Therefore, I asked the sales associate if she would price match, I provided her with proof and I got the top for $40.80 instead of $68.00.  YAY!  So just be aware not only will Belk price match but you get your item that day instead of having to stalk the mailman for the next week, haha.

Discounted Department Stores
Always remember to check stores such as Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off Fifth because they carry a wide variety of Free People.  Some styles may be from last season but I have had luck finding current styles there as well.

I find comfort in knowing that Free People products will fit me how I want them to.  Therefore, I place the value of their product in that fact alone.  But that does not mean I will not research and find the pieces I am interested in on sale.  I hope this post informed you that Free People is fairly simple to find on sale.  I have linked my entire outfit below and guess what?! The exact tee that I am wearing is still on sale! I may need it in the coral color too 🙂  Let me know in the comments below what your favorite brand is.
