Hello, hello!
I hope you all had a weekend full of ~love~ and lots of chocolate. Cory and I went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then came home and watched all of our favorite tv shows. It was a low key night and I was all about it.
I feel like I have so much to catch you guys up on since I haven’t done a Girl Talk post in a minute. But, first things first, if you are new here this is basically just a really chatty, lengthy post all about my most recent musings and all my favorite things as of late. This posts are totally random however, I try to post them monthly so we can keep things current. Feel free to continue the conversation below by leaving your comments below!

TV TALK
Y’all this season of The Bachelor is a hot mess. I really like Kelley and then after last week I was like but wait did she always have that kind of attitude? Not cute. Also, anyone else kinda shocked by how far Kelsey made it? I sure am. Hannah Ann, who at first I said I wasn’t a fan of turned out to be not half bad. She is from Knoxville, where I live, so I am very curious to see her hometown date tonight. Honestly, I think Madison will be the winner but you already know some kind of drama will get stirred up and cause Peter and every girl on the show to rethink everything.
The hubs and I also just finished Cheer and we both really enjoyed. Monica is a total girl boss and I think I need a friend like Jerry in my life. It was neat to go behind the scenes and really get to know a lot of the squad because it really established a connection. At the end of the show I was cheering them on like I actually knew them because I was that invested lol.
INSPIRATION STATION
Pinterest is still a thing ok. I always leave the app inspired and I am a big fan of being able to collect all kinds of pretty digital images in one place.
LIFE LATELY
My job is going wonderfully and it is actually crazy to think how much I have learned in 7 months. In case you didn’t know I am the Social Media and Marketing Manager for ASM Global – Knoxville. ASM Global is a world-wide venue management company which means it is in the hospitality and tourism industry. Pretty much the City of Knoxville hired us to book, manage and run 4 facilities for them which are: the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum, the Knoxville Convention Center, Chilhowee Park and Exposition Center and World’s Fair Exhibition Hall. So I run the social media accounts for all 4 properties as well as manage all marketing efforts for each. It’s a really fun job that is event-focused so I get to attend some really neat conventions, expos, concerts, you name it. I could go on and on about my job but I think that pretty much covers the basics!
Last weekend I posted an Instagram poll to gauge your interest on workwear posts on KLB and y’all responded overwhelmingly with “YES!” So, I think we should make #WorkwearWednesday a thing, what do you think? Even though I am still working on building my professional closet I think it will be a great opportunity for me to get creative and to hopefully offer y’all some #ootd inspo.
CURRENT FAVES
The weather in Tennessee has me majorly craving Spring. So much so that here soon I will be incorporating some transitional spring pieces into my wardrobe. Below is what I’m obsessing over.
